Gulf Petrochemical Industries Sustainability Reports

Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) is a leading manufacturer of fertilizers and petrochemicals namely Ammonia, Methanol and Urea in the Kingdom of Bahrain. For GPIC, sustainability has evolved to a strategic imperative that focuses on economic, environmental and social risks and opportunities. GPIC’s sustainability strategy is centered on the United Nations’ pillars of sustainable development: People, Planet and Profit. They measure their success on social responsibility, care for the environment and profitability.

For the past ten years I have had the privilege to work alongside GPIC’s Safety & Environment team to help deliver their biennial Sustainability Report. We always endeavour to make the report engaging, visually captivating whilst making sure the tone of the report is always respectful to the serious information that it aims to deliver. GPIC has always set important goals to improve their environmental, health, safety, economic and social performance, and they have long been recognised for their achievements.
