Annual Report

Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (“Mumtalakat”) is the sovereign wealth fund of the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Since it was established in 2006, Mumtalakat has actively sought investment opportunities locally, regionally and internationally. As of 2018, Mumtalakat held stakes in over 60 enterprises in 14 countries with its US$16.8 billion worth of assets.

Concept, layout and production for Mumtalakat’s 2013 annual report which aimed to highlight how the company’s transparency has been recognised year on year with full marks awarded in the Linaburg-Maduell Transparency Index, the most influential benchmarks in measuring the transparency of sovereign wealth funds. To visually communicate this transparency theme, we utilised x-rayed images to draw attention to each of their operating values.
